What I collect, and what I do with it.

The contact form

When you send a message through the form on this site, I collect what you type in: your name, your business, your email address, your phone number if you add it, what you need, your current website address if you have one, and anything you write in the notes.

I use it for one thing: to reply to you and, if we work together, to build and support your website. I do not sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.

Booking a call

The booking page uses Cal.com to schedule calls. If you book a time, the details you enter there (your name, email, and anything you add to the booking) go to Cal.com and to me, and I use them only to hold and run the call.

How the message reaches me

The form sends your message to my inbox through Resend, an email delivery service. Resend handles the message only to deliver it. If the form is ever unable to send, it shows my email address so you can write to me directly instead.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel keeps standard server logs (such as the IP address and browser of a request) for a short time to run and secure the service. I do not use those logs to identify visitors.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not set cookies, and it does not run advertising or tracking pixels. It uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. That service does not use cookies and does not identify you; it only tells me which pages get visited, roughly where visitors come from, and which buttons and questions on the site get used. Nothing you type into the form is ever sent to it.

Your details

If you want to see what I have on file for you, correct it, or have it deleted, email me at evan@cloverrootsmedia.com and I will take care of it. Messages from people I did not end up working with are deleted once the conversation is finished.

Changes

If I change how the site handles your information, I will update this page and the date at the top.
